It's a Boy!

It's a boy!

We had our ultrasound today, at 20 weeks, which revealed all healthy body parts and an easily visible little weenie, making us the parents of a SON! We try to say "our son" as much as possible now-- we are definitely ready not to have to refer to "it" anymore. And soon we'll be referring to him by name... we'll let you know when we decide what we'll be calling him.

For those of you who don't know or have forgotten, our dute date is still mid-February. Having made it to 20 weeks, we are at least halfway through the pregnancy and are both getting more and more excited about being parents.

Leah's belly is getting rounder each week, along with some of her other body parts :)
Joe's been able to feel OUR SON kicking from the outside, and this has become our favorite free-time activity-- all hands on the belly!

Here's some of the pics from the ultrasound... feel free to let loose with any "he's so perfect and wonderful" comments. We don't mind.

I think I saw a six pack in one of the pics! Your son is very agile and acrobatic in your belly. I think he may already be quite an athlete. And that brain!!! He is sure to win the Nobile Peace Prize for curing some disease. You guys are lucky parents! Love you,Patty Rae

He is so beautiful, looks just like his Granpa Papps. We have enrolled him in construction school for 2025. Ragna would be proud of the yoga moves! Love you! Tell my granbaby we love HIM :)

PS: There is NO evidence of monkey feet from this angle. Let's not screw him up before he's out of the gate!!

Just wanted to remind you (at 25 weeks) that you said your belly wasn't big enough. You might want to take back those words!
You're a beautiful pregnant Lady!
