10 Week Chunkadunk
I guess time is flying by-- I can't believe it's been almost two months since the last update! How far we've come!
Everything got much harder before it got any easier, but for those who prayed for us, thank you! We finally were able to figure out that Mason has an allergy to milk in my diet, resulting in an awful full-body rash and extreme fussiness that had me pacing and crying along with him night and day. Since the milk's gotten out of my system, he is more often a happy, smiley baby, although still fussy at times as any baby can be. We are learning his personality, his likes and dislikes; he especially hates the carseat which makes it hard to go anywhere, but loves being outside and actually smiled today every time the wind picked up and hit his face. He has a few favorite toys and loves face-to-face time, adding all the time to his "sound" vocabulary. And of course, he's growing and seems chunkier every day, earning him the nickname "Chunkadunk".
