Toddler Times
Remotes are a man's best friend.
Hey Everyone! Thanks for checking in!
Our lack of recent updates should be a clue to you about the last few months... busy, busy, busy. Lots of wedding prep activities with Cassie, baby showers for friends, traveling, etc, etc, etc!
But we're doing well-- Mason's hit the cutest milestone yet; walking! I could watch him toddle around all day long, babbling up a storm. For some reason being independantly upright makes him seem like such a different person-- a person in fact, not just the baby extension of myself and Joe. Sad in a way, but so cute that we can't help but be excited. He also loves to give kisses and will wrap his little skinny arms around your neck and squeeze when asked for a hug-- he's a cuddly little guy.
We had a great Easter with friends and family, which just makes us look even more forward to the years ahead-- kids makes holidays so much more fun!
As far as future plans... this summer, Joe and I are going to Malawi for a mission trip with Children of the Nations and our church, Summit. We'll work with teenagers in one of their orphanages to help with the AIDS pandemic. Although it'll be hard to leave our precious son for 11 whole days, we're excited for the work that God has for us in Africa and excited to see how He wants to change us through our time there.
