We're doing great... Cassie just got married last weekend! I've been super-busy the past few weeks getting prepared... I was officiating, as well as the maid of honor. I was a bit stressed/nervous about the whole thing since it was so untraditional and I just didn't know what to expect but it all went so well and i got to bring God to their wedding through the little talk I gave (not that He wasn't there on His own, but you know what I mean...). And of course the week before the wedding Mason had Roseola and an ear infection with temps up to 104.5... never a dull moment!

So we are taking a deep breath this week and trying to get back into the swing of things. We are super-excited for the adoption and are trying, slowly, to get our paperwork together. I am reading all the time, trying to get educated about Ethiopia, the AIDS crisis, etc. We're also excited for our trip to Malawi. Sometimes I think we are crazy to leave our baby but I think we need to keep a global view of our place in this world and trust that

God will take care of all of us.
