How wonderful is Fall?!?

Last weekend we went and visited our friends in SC; Janelle Lackey was on the Malawi trip with us and is the sister of our friend here in Orlando John Parker, who has two (soon to be four) children from Ethiopia. We had a great time with Janelle, Travis, and their kids Grace, 5, Isabelle, 4, and Owen, 2. Mason just adored all of the kids, but especially Isabelle, who may just be his futue wife. Older women are cool, right?!?

We got to go to an apple orchard, a peach orchard, two tractor-pulled hay rides, and a trunk-or-treat event, not to mention all the fun in the yard. Janelle made a fire in the cauldron out back and Mason even got to experience his first toasted marshmallows.

For Halloween Mason was a monkey, having finally grown into the costume his grandma bought him last year. We went to Joe's work where the office had trick-or-treating at the employee's cubes, and a big party for all the families. We love EA; they are so good to us. Then we went T/T in College Park with the Price girls-- we made it to about 3 houses in an hour and a half-- the most fun the kids had was chasing each other around one woman's yard and wrestling in the grass... until Mason pitched head-first into the planter!

While we were there Mason helped Daddy out with some of his work. Easy schmeesy. So easy a monkey could do it.
