God Rest Ye, Warren Family...We emerge gracefully from the holiday season. Despite a small cold (Leah), we were happy, healthy, and able to celebrate Christ's birth in a God-honoring, family loving way. Not perfectly, by any means, but we were able to go slow and enjoy each other and take some time to be intentional about giving thanks and worshipping. It's a journey, but I'm so glad to have at least taken the first steps in forming what our Advents and Christmases will look like.
This was the first year that we really spent time here on Christmas morning. It was a blessing to be able to wake up and spend quality time together without rushing off. Joe read to the boys on the couch for a full hour... they got lots of books from us :)
We made birthday cupcakes for Jesus, so that was part of our breakfast... I'm pretty sure the first and only time all year our boys get cupcakes for breakfast!
Micah is growing so quickly. He is a chunky, quiet, smiley, gummy, growling baby boy! He is still waking himself up all thru naptime with the dead-bug roll to his back, but he did decide on his 5 month birthday to roll back to his tummy during playtime, although he has yet to transfer this skill to the crib.
