San Francisco in the rearview mirror

We did it! By it, of course, I mean survived a cross-country trip with two energetic toddlerish boys! We just returned from San Francisco, where Joe's cousin Jill was wed (not once, but twice!) to Peter. The weddings were beautiful, the family time was a much-needed breath of fresh air for our family, and the weather was a nice cool 60's breeze into our melting in the 90's August lives.
Here are some of the highlights:

I just have to include this one for the face. Seriously???
Checking ot the loud, smelly seals at the wharf:

There's my boys:
The yellow airplane and red Lightning McQeen car went EVERYWHERE with us:Ready for the first wedding:
Atop a lion at the San Francisco Zoo. Obviously. Note: Levi was needing to be asleep, hence the face.
Ahhhhhh. Finally.
The one animal that Mason was most excited for was the Grizzly Bear.
This one was nice enough to let him ride.
Ready for the second wedding:The shirts wouldn't stay tucked in, but I'd still say that my boys were looking GOOD.
These pictures just make me really, really happy:
Dancing. Check out Mason's moves. I'm pretty sure that kid is a future "So You Think You Can Dance" superstar.Mason's first eclair. He thinks Aunt Cassie is pretty genius for loving these.
Levi's cool, but he's not the life of the party. Out cold by the time the entrees were served.
Mason didn't want to leave; he wanted to keep "dancing with the crowd" as he phrased it. But he too passed out cold on the way home. So much partying, so little awake time.

So. Much. Fun.
