Remember what is true

Psalm 4:8 "I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety."

My devotion this morning had this phrase. "Remember what is true..." Could anything be more poetic, more beautiful, more calming? My heart needed that reminder.

This is what is true... Innocent smile. Trusting sleep. Gentle rhythms. Clay projects. The discovery of a sandy, smushy texture.
