Little bits of awesomeness
There's really not much that tops this but I'll show you some of the other fun we've been up to...
The boys had a fun soccer season; Mason came out of his shell a bit and took to attacking that ball :)
This picture just makes me laugh. 5 year-olds playing soccer is awesome.
First baseball game, at Rollins College in Winter Park. Hot Dogs and chips were the highlight, at least until Mason and Micah each found a ball in the bushes outside the stadium after we left. They were hoping to catch a fly ball during the game but finding the balls was a close second.
For months the boys have faithfully practiced for their end-of-the year BUGZ play at school. Most of the practice was behind closed doors because they wanted us to be surprised. They delivered their lines, sang and danced, marched and saluted with only a little bit of shyness. They also brought the house down with an amazing Hand Jive routine :)
The Army Ants and other assorted bugz take a bow. Brock, their friend to the right, was cast as a maggot, but all year they referred to him as the "magnet" of the play. I never had the heart to correct them because I just really didn't want to explain about maggots :)
After the play, celebratory fro-yo. For once, Joe and I appear in a picture together. Weird :)
Sugary happiness in a cup.
A really really big, bigger than your head cup.
Working that wiggly tooth. Someone better get the quarters ready.
